About the Role

Temple Brown is seeking an experienced SEO Growth Specialist to join their team in Norwich as a full-time, permanent hire. This hybrid role is perfect for an SEO professional with 3–5 years of hands-on experience who thrives in client-facing environments and wants to own the complete SEO function across a diverse client base. You'll work with Webflow and WordPress as primary platforms, combining technical expertise with strategic thinking, content creation, and strong account management skills.

Responsibilities

• Own the full SEO delivery across the client base, implementing on-page, technical, and content SEO across Webflow, WordPress, and other CMSs with knowledge of GEO and AEO for AI-driven search visibility
• Develop and deliver monthly SEO strategies for each client account, monitor performance against KPIs, and adjust direction based on data and search landscape evolution
• Participate in client discovery sessions and sales pitches, bringing the SEO perspective from initial conversations to shape site structure and content planning from day one
• Embed with design and development teams throughout the website build lifecycle, ensuring every site launches fully SEO compliant with Google Analytics, meta tags, structured data, sitemaps, and proper indexation management
• Write SEO-optimized articles and on-page content, and brief, review, and quality-control content from team members and external writers
• Act as the primary point of contact for a portfolio of clients, leading strategy calls, monthly reporting sessions, and maintaining strong account relationships both in-person and virtually
• Identify growth opportunities through current affairs, industry trends, and search behavior analysis, recommending new initiatives to clients and directors
• Stay current with SEO developments, algorithm changes, and AI evolution; trial new tools, processes, and workflows to continuously improve the SEO function

Requirements

• 3–5 years of hands-on SEO experience, ideally in an agency or client-facing role, across technical, on-page, and content SEO
• Implementation experience on Webflow and WordPress, with working knowledge of GEO (Generative Engine Optimization) and AEO (Answer Engine Optimization)
• Proficiency with SEO and analytics tools including Google Search Console, Google Analytics 4, Ahrefs or Semrush, and Screaming Frog
• Strong account management and client-facing skills; comfortable running calls, presenting strategy, and owning relationships both virtually and face-to-face
• Ability to write SEO-driven content to a publishable standard and work both independently and as part of a team
• Research-led approach to SEO with an analytical mindset to investigate client industries, competitive landscapes, and audiences to shape strategy
• Proven ability to build SEO strategies and translate performance data into clear, client-ready reporting

Nice to Have

• Experience with professional services clients (legal, engineering, accounting, architecture, SaaS, financial services) and international SEO
• Familiarity with AI tools and automation platforms such as Claude, ChatGPT, and Make.com, with a genuine interest in how SEO is evolving with AI and answer-based search
• An English degree, editorial or copywriting background, or proven experience writing to a high standard with understanding of SEO-driven content structure
• Proficiency with Figma and the broader studio software stack
