About the Role

Elite Editing is seeking a freelance Technical SEO Specialist to support their broader search visibility initiative. In this role, you'll focus on technical site health, schema alignment, and structured data implementation that enhances discoverability across search engines and AI platforms. This is an ideal opportunity for someone with technical SEO expertise who can translate complex findings into actionable recommendations for development teams working across platforms like Webflow and WordPress. The position is contract-based and located in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Conduct technical SEO audits focused on crawlability, indexing, and rendering
• Review and recommend structured data and schema markup opportunities by page type
• Identify entity consistency and NAP (Name, Address, Phone) related issues
• Validate technical trust signals and structured markup implementation
• Provide implementation-ready checklists for development teams
• Support technical components of search visibility deliverables
• Collaborate with strategist and analyst roles to align technical recommendations

Requirements

• Proven experience in technical SEO
• Familiarity with structured data and schema markup
• Experience working with CMS platforms including WordPress, Webflow, and similar systems
• Understanding of crawl and indexation fundamentals
• Ability to translate technical findings into actionable recommendations
• Comfortable working within structured audit frameworks

Nice to Have

• Familiarity with AEO (Answer Engine Optimization) and GEO (Generative Engine Optimization) concepts
• Experience supporting AI search visibility initiatives
• Experience working with multi-location or entity-driven businesses
