About the Role

Tekion is seeking a strategic and highly technical Web Architect/PM to own Tekion.com and define the technical strategy for their digital web presence. This role bridges technical execution with business goals, architecting complex CMS structures, optimizing for SEO and AI search engines, and mentoring development teams to deliver scalable, high-performance digital solutions. Based in Pleasanton, CA (US headquarters), you'll partner with US and India-based teams to design and deliver a world-class web experience using Webflow and advanced front-end technologies.

Responsibilities

• Architect complex CMS sites by structuring Webflow collections, reference fields, and dynamic content models for maximum scalability and performance
• Lead delivery and project management, building responsive, pixel-perfect, and accessible web experiences from design mockups while coordinating cross-functional teams
• Implement custom code (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) to extend Webflow functionality with advanced interactions, filtering, and dynamic features
• Optimize Core Web Vitals (LCP, TTI) through image optimization, lazy-loading, script management, and CDN configuration
• Structure content for AI search engines and LLM indexing, implementing technical SEO best practices including schema markup, meta tags, and internal linking
• Integrate the CMS with marketing automation, AI tools, and broader tech stack via APIs
• Mentor internal teams on Webflow best practices and CMS capabilities while driving CRO initiatives through A/B testing and user journey optimization
• Partner with Marketing, Sales, Design, and Engineering teams to create high-converting landing pages and manage projects from conception to launch

Requirements

• 5+ years of professional experience in CMS development, preferably with Webflow
• Portfolio demonstrating complex CMS structures, advanced interactions, and high-performance website implementations
• Expertise in front-end languages (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) with ability to manipulate DOM and extend functionality
• Strong SEO/AEO experience with knowledge of site architecture, crawling, indexing, and AI citation factors
• Experience with CDN solutions (Cloudflare, CloudFront, or similar)
• Proficiency in Figma and ability to seamlessly move between design tools and live builds
• CRO mindset with experience in A/B testing, conversion optimization, and user journey mapping
• Technical acumen for partnering with engineering on system architecture, API integrations, and data flows; familiarity with SQL or comfort working with data analysts on KPIs
• Demonstrated effectiveness collaborating cross-functionally in matrixed global environments with engineering, design, operations, and senior leadership
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related technical discipline from a recognized institution
