About the Role

This Web Developer position begins as a contract engagement with a clear path to full-time for the right person. You'll take development ownership across high-impact projects, partner directly with the design team, and help set the standard for how Icovy approaches web experiences. If you can build websites that feel intentional, perform at a high level, and compete with top-tier brands, this role in Salt Lake City, UT is for you. You'll work across Webflow, WordPress, Shopify, WooCommerce, and enterprise-level builds that demand both technical excellence and creative collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Lead development across Webflow, WordPress, Shopify, and WooCommerce projects including high-end marketing sites, e-commerce experiences, and enterprise-level builds
• Structure scalable CMS systems and build for localization and multi-region experiences
• Implement advanced logic, gated content, and performance-driven, SEO-aware architecture
• Bring motion and interaction to life, partnering closely with the design team to refine UI and UX throughout the build process
• Contribute to how sites should be structured, built, and experienced—not simply execute static deliverables
• Move quickly without sacrificing quality or structure, and clearly explain your work, decisions, and approach

Requirements

• Extremely proficient in Webflow and WordPress
• Strong experience with Shopify, WooCommerce, or both
• Track record on complex or large-scale builds with a strong portfolio of real, shipped work
• High-level understanding of layout, spacing, typography, and motion
• Experience building across multiple platforms and environments
• Ability to clearly explain your work, decisions, and approach
