SDMH LLC is seeking an experienced Webflow developer to lead a critical website migration project. The company needs a specialist who can manage multiple site transitions while preserving SEO performance and search visibility across traditional and AI-powered search engines.
About the Role
This is a 30-day contract engagement as a Webflow Migration Specialist
Responsibilities
- Audit all 5 existing sites for URL structure, content, and SEO signals
- Configure custom Webflow templates for each site and migrate all pages, content, and assets
- Implement 301 redirects for changed URLs and manage complete URL structure preservation
- Configure meta titles, descriptions, heading hierarchy, XML sitemaps, robots.txt, and canonical tags across all sites
- Optimize content structure for both traditional SEO and AI search engines (ChatGPT, Perplexity, Google AI Overviews)
- Connect and verify Google Analytics 4 and Google Search Console, then submit updated sitemaps post-launch
- Test and optimize Core Web Vitals before and after launch, monitoring for crawl errors and ranking shifts
Requirements
- Proven experience migrating sites to Webflow with portfolio examples required
- Strong understanding of on-page and technical SEO, including 301 redirects and URL structure management
- Expertise in GEO (Generative Engine Optimization) and AI search optimization best practices
- Proficiency with Google Search Console, GA4, and SEO tools (Ahrefs or SEMrush)
- Demonstrated ability to assess and preserve Core Web Vitals performance during migrations
- Ability to manage 5 concurrent projects and deliver within a 30-day window
- Exceptional attention to detail and clear communication with regular progress updates
