About the Role

Maximus is seeking a data-driven Head of Digital Experience & Conversion Rate Optimization to architect and optimize the entire pre-conversion digital journey. This is a critical growth leadership role that will transform how potential customers discover, evaluate, and convert to Maximus, with ownership of the digital acquisition ecosystem from first search query to successful conversion. You'll serve as a key strategic voice in shaping the post-conversion product experience while building systems that drive exponential organic growth and industry-leading conversion rates. This remote position (USA or Canada) is ideal for a growth leader with expertise in Webflow, CRO, SEO, and lifecycle marketing strategy.

Responsibilities

  • Own the Maximus marketing website as the primary conversion engine, optimizing every element up to the point of customer conversion and leading the migration from Sanity CMS to Webflow
  • Build and run a scaled test-and-learn landing page development program, continuously creating, testing, and iterating acquisition funnels while leveraging AI tools (Claude, Claude Code) to make rapid optimizations
  • Develop and execute a comprehensive SEO strategy to establish Maximus as the authority in performance medicine, including AI engine optimization across ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Grok, and Perplexity
  • Map and optimize every step of the prospect journey from awareness through conversion, partnering closely with Paid Media to ensure seamless experiences and developing sophisticated attribution models
  • Manage and mentor the Lifecycle Marketing lead responsible for email and SMS programs, oversee prospect nurture campaigns, and direct retention campaigns for lapsed customers
  • Directly manage a designer supporting web and lifecycle creative needs while serving as a key stakeholder and advisor on post-conversion customer experience
  • Implement personalization strategies, optimize site architecture and page speed, and establish aggressive targets for site conversion rates and cost per acquisition
  • Stay ahead of algorithm changes and emerging discovery platforms to maintain competitive advantage in organic traffic growth

Requirements

  • Proven track record as a digital growth leader or Head of Marketing with significant experience in conversion rate optimization, CRO, and digital acquisition strategy
  • Deep expertise in SEO strategy, organic growth, and emerging platforms including AI engine optimization
  • Hands-on experience with Webflow or modern web platforms; ability to work with or leverage AI tools for rapid website optimization and content updates
  • Strong analytical mindset with experience developing attribution models, implementing advanced analytics, and making data-driven decisions
  • Experience building and leading cross-functional teams, including lifecycle marketing, creative, and product partnerships
  • Demonstrated ability to scale landing page testing programs and drive measurable improvements in conversion metrics and cost per acquisition

Nice to Have

  • Experience in the healthcare, wellness, telehealth, or performance medicine industries
  • Familiarity with AI-powered content optimization and emerging AI discovery platforms
  • Background in B2C performance marketing with experience scaling 8-figure ARR businesses
