About the Role

Adoreal is seeking an experienced Manager of Web Development to lead their web development team as they scale rapidly. In this practice-facing role, you'll manage a globally-dispersed team of mid- to senior-level developers while driving strategy, execution, and technical excellence across all web properties. This is an ideal opportunity for a strategic implementor with extensive Webflow expertise who can mentor developers, manage complex projects, and help practices understand Adoreal's approach to web development.

Responsibilities

• Define web development roadmap aligned with business objectives and evaluate new tools and platforms
• Build and maintain expert-level Webflow and WordPress sites with pixel-perfect precision
• Execute complex website migrations including platform migrations, domain transfers, and content restructuring with minimal downtime
• Lead and mentor mid- to senior-level developers through code reviews, feedback, and regular 1:1s across time zones
• Identify automation opportunities and collaborate with the Automations Lead to create Zapier, Make, and custom API integrations that streamline workflows
• Manage multiple concurrent projects from kickoff to launch, coordinating with design, marketing, and product teams
• Monitor site performance, SEO optimization, accessibility standards, and user experience metrics
• Foster a collaborative, learning-oriented team culture while removing blockers and providing technical guidance

Requirements

• 8+ years of web development experience with 4+ years in a management role
• Expert-level proficiency in Webflow and WordPress development and administration
• Extensive experience with complex website migrations and understanding of web design principles, UX best practices, and SEO fundamentals
• Proven ability to build and implement automations including Zapier, Make, custom scripts, and API integrations
• Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and responsive design with strong web performance optimization knowledge
• Demonstrated success leading and mentoring developers with strong project management and communication skills for technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Experience managing remote, globally-dispersed teams and working in fast-paced, ambiguous startup or agency environments

• Experience with Figma for design collaboration
• Track record of scaling web infrastructure and processes
• Portfolio showcasing Webflow, WordPress, and responsive design work
