About the Role

MERENA is seeking a hands-on Marketing Analyst and Coordinator to run day-to-day marketing for this early-stage, mission-driven startup. This high-impact generalist role is perfect for someone comfortable with ambiguity, who moves quickly, likes to build, and can turn ideas into campaigns that drive awareness, sign-ups, engagement, and growth. Based in Colorado Springs, CO with a hybrid work environment (three days per week in office), you'll help shape how MERENA reaches consumers, explains online safety in plain language, and builds trust with people who need practical guidance—while becoming part of MERENA's founding team.

Responsibilities

  • Own day-to-day marketing execution across email, social, content, web, campaigns, partnerships, and digital channels
  • Create and coordinate consumer-facing marketing content, including emails, social posts, campaign copy, landing page copy, newsletters, blog content, and product updates
  • Plan and execute direct-to-consumer campaigns that drive awareness, sign-ups, activation, engagement, retention, and referrals
  • Support viral, referral, community, and partner-based growth initiatives
  • Track marketing performance across channels and report on traffic, conversion, activation, engagement, retention, referrals, and campaign results
  • Conduct market, customer, and competitive research to sharpen messaging, positioning, audience segmentation, and campaign strategy
  • Translate cybersecurity and online safety topics into simple, useful, consumer-friendly communications
  • Manage marketing calendars, campaign workflows, assets, reporting, and core marketing tools including Webflow, HubSpot, and Google Analytics
  • Work closely with leadership, product, engineering, partners, agencies, and vendors to keep marketing moving

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in marketing, growth marketing, digital marketing, lifecycle marketing, consumer marketing, demand generation, or a related role
  • Strong writing and editing skills for consumer-facing campaigns
  • Experience executing marketing campaigns from concept through launch and reporting
  • Comfort with marketing analytics, funnel metrics, dashboards, and campaign measurement
  • Working knowledge of core marketing tools such as Google Analytics, HubSpot, Mailchimp, Webflow, WordPress, Canva, Lovable, social scheduling tools, ad platforms, or similar systems
  • Self-starter mentality with ability to prioritize, problem-solve, and make progress without heavy structure
  • Comfort working in an early-stage startup where priorities can change quickly and ability to work hybrid in Colorado Springs (three days per week in office)

Nice to Have

  • Experience with consumer direct marketing
  • Experience with viral marketing, referral programs, community-led growth, or organic social growth
  • Experience in cybersecurity, privacy, fraud prevention, identity protection, AI, SaaS, or technology
  • Experience turning technical topics into simple, accessible messaging
  • Experience with marketing automation, lifecycle campaigns, A/B testing, SEO, paid social, or conversion optimization
  • UX/UI design experience
  • Startup or small-team experience

Benefits & Perks

  • Competitive compensation: $75,000 to $95,000
  • Stock options (as approved by the Board of Directors)
  • Health, dental, and vision insurance
  • 401(k) plan
  • Paid time off and holidays
