About the Role
As a Senior Product Specialist for ePCR & Fire Software, you'll be a key operational partner bridging Product Management, Development, QA, and Support teams. This remote position offers the opportunity to translate complex product functionality into clear documentation, training materials, and customer communications while supporting the entire software development lifecycle. You're an ideal fit if you have strong technical writing skills, experience in product operations or software documentation, and a passion for enabling customer success through quality knowledge management.
Responsibilities
- Maintain and update product requirements, feature documentation, and functional specifications
- Create and maintain customer-facing product documentation, user guides, knowledge base content, and release notes
- Develop, script, record, and maintain software training videos and learning materials using tools like Camtasia or Loom
- Attend product planning and cross-functional meetings to document decisions, action items, and requirements changes
- Track product release milestones, deliverables, and dependencies across teams; coordinate release readiness planning and communications
- Partner with Product Owners to ensure accurate product requirements documentation and monitor updates for new releases
- Support testing efforts by validating documented functionality and acceptance criteria
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance product documentation, release management, and training effectiveness
Requirements
- High School Diploma required; Bachelor's Degree preferred
- 3+ years of experience in product operations, product support, technical writing, software documentation, training development, or related field
- Exceptional written communication and organizational skills
- Proven experience creating technical documentation and customer-facing materials
- Strong project coordination and follow-through abilities
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced software environment
- Experience with documentation management platforms and collaboration tools
Nice to Have
- Experience with video creation, screen recording, and editing software such as Camtasia, Loom, or similar
- Experience supporting SaaS or software product organizations
- Experience using or administering ePCR or Fire software solutions
