About the Role

As a Web & Digital Experience Designer at Neros, you'll own the company's web presence and digital footprint, sitting within the Marketing organization in Torrance, CA. This role is perfect for a designer who wants to work end-to-end—from initial brief through design, development, QA, and launch—while crafting compelling web experiences that resonate with military end users, government procurement officials, and the public. You'll combine web design, UX, interactive design, low-code Webflow development, and user journey mapping to tell the Neros story across their most prominent digital surfaces.

Responsibilities

• Own web design and deployment end to end, from brief through wireframe, UX, development, QA, UAT, launch, and iterative improvement
• Bring web experiences to life with reactive and interactive elements including animations, scroll-driven effects, transitions, and micro-interactions
• Evolve the digital design language across web surfaces: layouts, navigation, interaction patterns, responsive behavior, motion, and templates
• Partner with Brand Design to maintain the web design system and component library, ensuring consistency across every page and touchpoint
• Conduct review cycles with Marketing and Executive leadership in the staging environment
• Translate technically complex products and capabilities into intuitive, compelling web experiences
• Use analytics and user feedback to test, refine, and continuously improve usability and experience
• Own information architecture as product lines and markets expand, while managing multiple concurrent projects of varying scope and complexity

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in web and digital design
• Expert-level skill in low-code front-end web design tools like Webflow
• Demonstrated experience owning web launches end to end—designing and shipping live pages, not handing off mockups to engineers
• Strong command of web design fundamentals including layout, typography, responsive design, and design systems
• Proven experience building reactive and interactive web elements: animations, transitions, scroll effects, and micro-interactions
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with high attention to detail
• A portfolio showcasing a range of web and UX work that clearly delineates your sole creative ownership versus shared responsibility

Nice to Have

• Working knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript for custom code and embeds
• Experience with motion or interaction design tools
• Experience designing software interfaces or product UI
• Background working in defense, aerospace, robotics, frontier technology, or hardware development
